Government's better strategy: Fear of energy crisis in Pakistan is over, petrol has arrived

 

Karachi (Zero Point News) The fear of a petrol crisis in Pakistan due to the US-Iran war in the Middle East has ended. The effects of the government’s strategy to resolve Pakistan's energy crisis due to the Middle East tensions are beginning to emerge, and petrol supplies to Pakistan are being rapidly restored. Oil tankers carrying crude oil and petroleum products from Gulf countries have begun arriving in Pakistan, and the ships are being berthed on an emergency basis at Port Qasim.

According to the Port Qasim administration, the oil tanker MT New Atro Pass, which departed from Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, has arrived at Port Qasim and anchored at the Futco Oil Terminal. The ship has brought about 50,000 metric tons of crude oil. According to the administration, the second ship, MT Spurs II, will arrive at Port Qasim tomorrow with about 55,000 metric tons of crude oil, while the third ship, MTC Clipper, 

will anchor at the port on March 11 with 34,000 metric tons of crude oil. In addition, the ship Torum Damini, which is carrying gas oil, is also anchored at the Futco terminal, which is expected to improve the supply of petroleum products in the country. Port Qasim officials say that one of the ships carrying crude oil has also left from Oman, and three ships carrying crude oil will arrive at Port Qasim in the next three days, which is expected to further stabilize the oil supply situation in the country.
